It’s the time of year when some schools start allowing top-ups on Pro-D applications that were not fully reimbursed the first time. Pro-D Reps please e-mail Navneet Basra at accounting2@surreyteachers.org to request an update on the Pro-D funds for your school. She can also provide you with information on how to submit top-up requests at that time.
Please note that the STA clerical staff are off for the summer after June 30th, so if you have a Pro-D application for an event that has taken place, please send it in to us before this deadline (remember that it takes some time to work its way through the courier bag system, so the earlier the better!) so Navneet can process your cheque and get it out to you before she is gone for the summer.
The deadline for applying for Consolidated Pro-D funds in the 2021/22 school year is Friday, June 24, 2022. The event can still take place any time between June 24 and September 15, 2022, but new applications will not be accepted after June 24, 2022.
Also, please note that the absolute deadline date for any 2021/22 Pro-D applications is September 15, 2022. All events have to have taken place on or before this date and all applications and receipts need to be IN the STA office (not merely enroute to) on or before September 15, 2022.
