The Surrey Teachers’ Association has a long history of engaging in political campaigns related to public education and social justice issues. We take an active interest in municipal, provincial, and federal election campaigns. We are also actively involved in public education campaigns including Foundation Skills Assessment testing and standardized testing issues, issues around teacher professional autonomy and class size and composition as well as other campaigns such as anti-poverty and homelessness.
