The STA Defense of Human Rights in Public Education Committee invites members of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community to an all-day Loud and Proud event on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. The day will include featured presenters James Chamberlain and Trevana Spilchen as well as music by DJ O Show. We’ll consider how we can apply the concept of Resistance to our own well being, to our students’ journeys through school, and to the stories we share while delivering curriculum. Come to listen, to learn, and to laugh.
Because we have a limited space available, there will be a random draw to determine attendance if more than 25 people indicate interest in attending this all-day event.
