The Elementary Music Teachers Ad Hoc Committee supports the STA’s work in identifying, understanding, and addressing the working conditions of elementary music teachers.
The committee promotes awareness within the STA about the unique challenges faced by elementary music teachers, supports members in understanding and asserting their rights under the Collective Agreement, and advocates for improved working conditions.
The committee may also bring forward recommendations to the STA regarding working conditions, member support, and potential bargaining priorities related to elementary music teaching.
