There are two dates for our Annual General Meeting this year. On May 8, we will hold elections online via Zoom at 3:45 pm and on May 15, we will meet in-person at Northview Golf and Country Club at 4:00 pm to vote on the budget and consider other motions.

We are hosting a bargaining listening circle for BIPOC teachers who would like to have their voice represented in the next phase of bargaining. We encourage teachers to use this opportunity to actively participate in advocating for our working conditions, salary and more.

Land Acknowledgement

We acknowledge with gratitude and respect that STA members have the privilege of working on the unceded ancestral territory of the Coast Salish peoples, the qʼʷa:n̓ƛʼən̓ (Kwantlen), q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie), qiqéyt (Qayqayt) and sɛmiˈɑːmuː (Semiahmoo) who have cared for this land for thousands of years, and who continue to care for this land.
