Are you passionate about advocating for workers’ rights, public education, and strengthening the labour movement? The STA is seeking dedicated members to represent Surrey teachers at the BC Federation of Labour (BCFED) Convention, taking place from November 23-27 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
As a delegate, you’ll have the opportunity to engage with labour leaders, participate in key discussions, and shape policies that affect workers across British Columbia. Release time, accommodations, mileage, and per diems will be provided for all elected delegates.
