The next Special General Meeting/STARA is on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at The Clayton Venues (5640 188 Street, Surrey) starting at 4:00 pm.
Our final Special General Meeting for 2024 – 2025 school year will include presentations of the Truth and Reconciliation Annual Report as well as STA Committee reports and a Bargaining Update. There will also be two sets of elections: one for a Local Representative to the BCTF and the other for members of the STA’s 32 committees. These committees do significant work on behalf of all members and are critical to our union’s strength. Complete the 2025 Committee Elections form to have your name included in the candidates running for election in each committee.
Staff Reps are encouraged to submit school concerns at any point ahead of, or during, the meeting.
