Call for BCTF AGM Delegates

Put your name forward to be a BCTF AGM Delegate

The BCTF AGM will take place from March 14 to March 17, 2026, at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in downtown Vancouver. It’s an incredible opportunity to dive into the workings of the BCTF, gain fresh perspectives on critical issues, connect with colleagues from across the province, and have your voice heard in shaping union decisions. The BCTF covers hotel accommodations and expenses, and childcare arrangements are available.

Surrey can send up to 69 delegates, and we want you to be one of them! Per the STA’s Policies and Procedures, the 15 members of the Resolutions Committee will automatically be delegates. This means we need to elect 54 delegates plus alternates. This will happen at the STA Special General Meeting on January 21 via Zoom.

Elected delegates and alternates are expected to attend all the training sessions leading up to the AGM:

If you’re interested in becoming a delegate, please complete the form below by Sunday, January 4, 2026. Your chances of being elected increase if you include a written statement. You can also nominate yourself from the floor at the meeting.
