Reporting Clarification

Recently in a few district weekly memos, there have been instructions about year-end reporting changes that have announced the end of the reporting order that was put in place during the pandemic when we had Pandemic/ Remote/ Blended reporting. 

Because there has been some confusion about this, we hope this note provides clarity.

Teachers are expected to revert to the regular, pre-pandemic expectations in the ministerial reporting order. This means that teachers are expected to report on all subject areas with performance(proficiency) indicator and descriptive feedback; however, it can be done through a textbox, cross-curricular, teacher reflections, copying feedback in Fresh Grade posts or separate comments per subject. 

There is no need to change templates. The templates are possibilities and not prescriptive.  Reports do have to meet the ministry expectation of all subjects having performance indicator and descriptive feedback.
