Income Tax deduction for working at home

You may have heard that there is a tax deduction available for 2020 taxes for workers who had to work from home during the pandemic. We understand that one can claim under the temporary flat-rate amount ($2/day, minimum 4 consecutive weeks) without any additional documentation from the employer.
