Professional Resource Raffle 

The STA Pro-D Committee is raffling off a copy of Jo Chrona’s book, Wayi Wah! Indigenous Pedagogies: An Act for Reconciliation and Anti-Racist Education. To enter the draw for this book giveaway, send your name to communications@surreyteachers.org by May 31, 2023. 

This professional resource is a good example of the type of book that is eligible for reimbursement from your Pro-D funds. Teachers can use the Professional Resource Application to apply for funding pre-approval if they are planning on using a pedagogical resource for professional development. To be eligible for funding, a book must enhance curricular knowledge, heighten instructional skills, and broaden one’s exposure to teaching theories, methods, and strategies.
