Mission School District Pro-D Conference

STA members are invited to attend the Mission District Professional Development Day on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Mission Secondary School (32939 7th Avenue, Mission BC V2V 2C5). The cost is $50. See Mission Pro-D Day document for details.  

If you would like to attend, you will be required to take professional development leave.   

As per the Collective Agreement G21.5 teachers “In any one (1) school year, up to ten (10) days’ leave may be granted with pay deducted at cost of substitute to enable participation in appropriate and acceptable professional development programs. Such leave will not be arbitrarily denied.”.   

You would then need to apply for funds using either the Individual or Consolidated funds application. Please see below for how to apply and access Pro D funds.
