Masks

As of October 4, masks are mandatory in schools for students in K-3.  We recognize that this new rule has the potential to make teaching more difficult and increase stress for teachers in seeking compliance from students.  Be patient with yourself and others as you adjust to the new rule.   

The same exemptions for mask wearing that were available for the older members and students apply to this new group.  Please talk to your administrator if you are experiencing difficulties: they are responsible for the health and safety in your school.  If you do not feel they addressed the situation satisfactorily, please bring the issue to your school’s health and safety committee.
