After an extended struggle with cancer, long time STA activist Trish Kelley passed in Kamloops, July 8, 2021. Trish served as a first vice-president of the STA, was a long time STA Executive Committee member, grievance committee member and staff rep. She spent many years helping members on the Internal Mediation Service at the BCTF and represented Surrey and Delta on the College of Teachers. She lived and died with an activist heart. Our hearts go out to all who knew her, her family, former colleagues at her schools, retired teachers and activists, and as well we acknowledge her contributions to the STA over many years.
