Fresh Grade has been sold and it is not possible to use it beyond June 30, 2022. The District plans to have a system in place for September 2022; however, they have not decided about what platform that will be. Earlier this year a pilot was offered to teachers using Spaces by myBlueprint. As a reminder, reporting tools need to be approved by the ministry or the school district.
The STA will not be influencing the choice of reporting tools however, we will continue to be in discussion with the district and will maintain our positions that:
- training on a new platform requires in-service,
- teachers are not being expected to learn the new platform during lunch time,
- in-service is the responsibility of the employer to train for the new reporting tool, and
- STA members should be informed as early as possible about changes.
