LGBTQ2S+ Ad Hoc Committee provides strategies, recommendations, support, educational opportunities as well as examines the experiences, conditions and needs of LGBT2QS+ identified students and staff. We work to eliminate homophobia, transphobia, biphobia and heterosexism within our school communities, curriculum, and resources. We work to provide positive examples and showcase contributions that LGBTQ2S+ folks have made to society. We advocate for positive change and highlight the unique set of challenges that LGBT2QS+ folks have to deal with on a daily basis. We emphasize that queer identified educators and students are the experts of their own experiences and know what they need.
