Training for NEW Health & Safety Committee Members

WorkSafeBC requires that all NEW committee members receive a full day of training within 6 months of joining a committee. If you have not been trained or if you are already on a H&S Committee or it has been less than 2 years since you were last on a committee, you need not take this course. Dates for teaching staff: Thursday, November 18 and Tuesday, November 30.  Register here

Training will take place virtually via Office 365 Teams. A link to the training session will be e-mailed to you 2 days prior to the training date. The training will be from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

Once registered, you may need to add a job to ADS, please use Detached Duty (STA and PVP) This will prompt an electronic Leave of Absence to be completed. Replacement coverage will be provided as per the B-Memo.  If applicable, the cost will be borne by Health & Safety.
